Vermont Woods Studios

Peter and Virginia Vogel work from a cozy post and beam studio on their farm, Spirit Hill, in Halifax, Vermont. As they work, they have a fine view of sprawling hills and rolling pastures. Virginia has earned a national reputation for raising their llamas; she also designs elegant shawls and vests made from their fiber. Both Peter and Virginia have a long history of stewardship of their land, which they bring to the table, so to speak, in their artistry.
