As this beloved dog, Buster grew older his owners wanted to memorialize him in a special way. The Iris Series, part of Rick Schneider's Femme Florale collection is Rick's latest work of art. It has won top honors, including first prize in the 2006 Vermont Wood Products Showcase and Design Competition. The series is a progression of 4 carved irises with a sculpted female unfolding within the blossoms. Rick has combined black cherry and black walnut woods to create naturally sensual artwork.
